About
Europe's only museum dedicated to the Karaim people — a small Turkic, Old Testament-following community that Grand Duke Vytautas brought from Crimea to Trakai 600 years ago. Three modest rooms hold 300+ artifacts: traditional dress, Eastern weapons, an antique wooden cradle, ceremonial coffee pots. A quick, fascinating stop on the way between the two castles, steps from the still-active Karaim kenesa (prayer house).
